Top 10 most sexy female tennis celebrities

There is a proverbial saying that beauty and brains doesn't go hand in hand. We don't know whether it is true or not, but beauty and skills does go hand-in-hand.

That's why the female tennis circuit today is full of sexy hot celebrities. We have tried to compile a list of top ten spots for you to comment. This list by no means is a complete and authentic list, it is just a compilation and is always subject of personal preferences and biases. We will present it in two parts.

As of July 9, 2007, Hantuchová ranks at No. 12 in singles.

Ashley Harkleroad (born May 2, 1985), is an American tennis player. Born in Rossville, Georgia, Harkleroad reached a career-high ranking of No. 39 on June 9, 2003. As of July 25, 2006, she is ranked 88 in singles and 57 in doubles. Her career prize money to date is $573,025.

Martina Hingis (born September 30, 1980 in Slovakia) is a former World No. 1 Swiss tennis player. Known as the "Swiss Miss", she has won five Grand Slam singles titles (three Australian Open, one Wimbledon, and one US Open). She has also won nine Grand Slam women's doubles titles, winning a calendar year Grand Slam in 1998, and one Grand Slam mixed doubles title. She spent a total of 209 weeks as World No. 1 and set a series of "youngest-ever" records before ligament injuries in both ankles forced her to withdraw from professional tennis at the relatively early age of 22.

She is a good friend of Maria Sharapova. She is affectionately called Makiri. Maria Kirilenko won the junior event at the 2002 Canadian Open, as well as the 2002 US Open junior tournament. In December 2004 she played in a tennis exhibition in Tampa, Florida to raise money for the Florida Hurricane Relief Fund.

She is the reigning U.S. Open champion, having defeated Justine Henin in the final of the 2006 U.S. Open. Two years earlier, she defeated Serena Williams in the final at Wimbledon.
